How to Uninstall Dual Monitor Tools
Removing DMT takes under a minute — the steps depend on which version you installed.
Uninstall the MSI version
Step 1 — Close DMT
Right-click the DMT icon in the system tray (bottom-right, near the clock) and choose Exit.
Step 2 — Uninstall
Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Dual Monitor Tools, click the three dots and choose Uninstall. Follow the wizard.
Step 3 — Remove leftover settings (optional)
Settings live in a config folder whose location is shown on the DMT General options page. Delete that folder if you want no trace left behind.

Close DMT from the system tray, then simply delete the folder you extracted the ZIP into. That’s it — the portable version writes its settings (DmtSettings.xml, DmtMagicWords.xml, DmtWallpaperProviders.xml) inside its own folder, so nothing is left elsewhere on your PC.
