DMT General Settings: Monitors, Startup & Updates
The control center every other module builds on. Get your monitor layout right here and everything else just works.
What lives on the General page
Monitor table & ordering
See every detected display with its resolution and position. In v2.13 you can name each monitor (“Left Dell”, “Vertical”), order them by name, and see which GPU each one is attached to — invaluable when troubleshooting.
Startup & updates
Tick “Start when Windows starts” to have DMT always ready. The Check for Updates button tells you when a new release is out.
Monitor configuration
Adjust brightness and contrast (on supporting monitors, since v2.9) and change monitor orientation (v2.12+) without opening the OSD menus.

Pro tips
- Drag the monitor rectangles to match your physical desk layout — window moves and cursor behavior all follow this map.
- On mixed-DPI setups (4K + 1080p), double-check the reported resolutions before tuning hotkeys.
